Science Week
For Science week this year, the children in 1st and 2nd class worked together in small groups to create butter. Each child took turns to shake the jar of fresh cream and salt, to eventually end up with homemade butter. This came as quite a surprise to the children but thankfully some predictions of an explosion didn't come true.
Rangoli Designs
Here is a selection of Rangoli designs that the children created to celebrate Diwali. Diwali is an Indian festival of light, celebrated around the end of October each year. When painting the designs, the children used the pointillism technique.
